Ysgol Llywelyn has a comprehensive plan, agreed and monitored by Denbighshire Local Authority, to promote high expectations, attainment and progress and to remove barriers to learning for pupils entitled to this funding.

We have used the funding available to:

• Employ Teaching Assistants to work with targeted children either one to one or in small groups to improve basic skills.
• Undertake nurture groups, anger management groups and work with disengaged pupils.
• Employ Teaching Assistants to work with vulnerable children either one to one or in small groups to improve basic skills, reading, literacy and numeracy within foundation phase
• Employ Attendance Officer  to improve attendance levels in particularly of FSM pupils
• Work towards Foundation Learning Ratios.

It is not appropriate for the school to publish a detailed plan as it could identify individual pupils, however a summary is attached below.
