At Ysgol Llywelyn we take great pride in our school uniform and the presentation of pupils. Please see below the uniform for all pupils within school.
P.E. Kit: Pupils can come to school wearing their P.E. kits on the day of the lesson. Please note that Sports / Football Team Kits/tops should not be worn for PE lessons.
All items with the school logo can also be obtained from Get The Logo (Rhyl), Jean Emporium, Simply Logo (Rhyl) or 1st Class Clothes (Prestatyn).
Pupils can come into school wearing their forest school clothing. This should be clothing you don’t mind getting muddy and appropriate for the activities they will complete. We recommend wellies, especially in the Winter months or they can wear old trainers. As a school we have a limited supply of spare wellies which can be used. Please note Football kits should not be worn.
Jewellery: Pupils should not wear jewellery in school, apart from watches and small studs in pierced ears. Earrings, including sleepers, and other items of jewellery such as rings, bracelets and pendants present a serious hazard during P.E. and should not be worn.
Watches: Watches may be worn to school but must be removed and given to the Class Teacher before any P.E. lessons.
Hairstyles and make-up: The Governors deem that certain shaved and dyed hair styles are a breach of the school’s Discipline Code. Make-up and nail varnish should not be worn (this includes fake nails).
